4 Reasons why NOW is the Perfect Time of Year to Start Your Men’s Team Ministry

Okay, men.

You know all about men’s team ministry to the widowed and single parents.

You know your men’s ministry is on life support and needs a shot in the arm.

You know your widows and single moms have ongoing, unmet needs.

You know men’s team ministry works. And you know we’ve created all the resources you need to get started.

You just can’t seem to get off your butt and do something about it.

Well, I’ve got news for you: January, February, and March are the perfect time of year to start your men’s team ministry.

Why? Here are four reasons:

  • The holidays are over.
  • Football season is almost over.
  • Winter is here, and your men are getting cabin fever.
  • After the Super Bowl, your men will have this question: “What’s next?”

Starting a new men’s ministry initiative in late winter or early spring will answer that question for them and give your new men’s team ministry time to get off the ground and gain momentum before your men take to the hills this summer for a little hunting and fishing.

So how about making a belated New Year’s resolution: “This winter I’m going to trust God to use me to mobilize my men to meet every pressing need in my church by helping to start a men’s team ministry”?

It’s easy. It’s fulfilling. It’s scriptural. It’s fun. It’s pleasing to the Lord. Your widows and single moms will love it. Your men will love it. Your pastor will love it.

You will love it.
