Do you know how much I love writing for you? I look forward to creating a new post for you every time I sit down at this keyboard. I hope you are as blessed by reading it as I am by writing it.
This morning I was overwhelmed by a sense of joyful thankfulness for all of you. You are such an incredible encouragement to this ministry. Here are 7 reasons why I’m grateful for you.
- I’m thankful that you are heeding the call to be an advocate for their widowed and single parents in your church and community. Maybe you’ve helped to start a men’s team ministry in your church or simply brought the subject up to your pastor. Maybe you’ve taken it upon yourself to be an example by serving a widow. Whatever the case, by advocating for this neglected segment of the church, you have furthered the cause of Christ and brought glory to God.
- I’m thankful that you love and participate in men’s ministry. By doing so, you strengthen other men and yourself as well, thus fulfilling the Great Commission to make disciples.
- I’m thankful that you read my blog. I’m also honored.
- I’m thankful that you share my posts. This is a great compliment and a fantastic way to get the word out about men’s team ministry.
- I’m thankful that you pray for New Commandment Men’s Ministries. We cannot function without it.
- I’m thankful that you’ve joined Meeting to Meet Needs. This tells me you’re serious about men’s team ministry and men’s ministry in general. It also helps undergird this ministry financially.
- I’m thankful that you give generously to support this ministry. In this time of pandemic induced social and financial chaos, your giving has remained constant. Amazing! Thank you.
It’s hard to believe it’s been over three years and 500 posts since I started writing this blog. I look forward to writing for many more years and having you along with me for the journey.
Blessings to you all.

Since 2003 New Commandment Men’s Ministries has helped hundreds of churches throughout North American and around the world recruit teams of men who permanently adopt their widowed and single parents in their congregations for the purpose of donating two hours of service to them one Saturday morning each month. We accomplish this with a free training site called New Commandment Men’s Ministry
