In my continuing effort to expose my readers to the amazing men’s ministry resources that are currently available, here are an additional five men’s ministries everyone who has a concern for men should know about.
- Men With No Regrets – Founded by Steve Sonderman. Highly regarded as one of the pioneers of the men?s ministry movement in America, Steve started one of the first men?s ministries in the country for the growing church population at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin. His real passion is to see every local church have its own ministry to men. In 1994, he began the annual No Regrets Men?s Conference which today draws thousands of men to the event held at Elmbrook Church and across the country via webcast. Steve also serves as Senior Associate Pastor of Leadership Development at Elmbrook Church?and regularly consults and leads seminars in this country and around the world with churches from a wide range of denominations helping to develop and establish local men?s ministries and address leadership issues.
- The Pure Man – A?ministry focused on helping men develop the Biblical skills necessary to defeat lust, pornography and masturbation (self-gratification) – in short: to be sexually pure.?No matter what sin issues you may be battling with, no matter where you may be in your walk with God, or in your marriage relationship -?don?t give up hope, don?t quit, don?t allow discouragement to defeat you.?God has a perfect plan for your life.?God is at work ? even now ? molding you into the Christ-follower He wants you to be.?Stop fighting Him, stop trying to take over the process, and trust Him with EVERYTHING.
- Marked Man for Christ -?Marked Men For Christ™ ministry is all about providing an experience and format to allow Christian men to develop a deeper more powerful relationship with Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and God. When you work, you will eat. Their retreats are an opportunity to do some “work” to get filled up with the Lord’s eternal food & water to satiate us for the rest of our life (John 6:27) — as a follower of Jesus Christ.
- MAN UP! God?s Way -?MAN UP! Gods Way, was founded in an effort to call ?lukewarm? Christian men to stop being ?spiritual sissies? and start living up to the challenge that God has laid out before us in His holy Word.?In an effort to change the direction of Christian men, MAN UP! Gods Way is challenging the manhood of these men. MAN UP doesn?t believe that being a man means you can chew through steel or bend iron, but that being a man means we will be disciplined in our relationship with Christ, in our marriage, as a father, in our service at church, at work, in accountability to one another and in discipleship.
- A Father’s Walk Single Dad Ministry – A Father’s Walk’s mission is impacting the lives of children by encouraging and equipping single fathers to be intentional leaders in their own lives and in the lives of their children. This ministry is?a hub, a resource, and with God?s leading- an inspiration to other dads as to the saving grace and restoration that only faith in our Lord can provide.
