It’s sad to see people begging. It’s a reminder that we live in a fallen world and that there are people with real needs. But when it comes to seeing people begging, I almost always drive by without giving anything. But I also have to admit, I do feel a tinge of guilt every time I avert my eyes. Here’s my thinking on the subject.

When it comes to people begging in public, we can be both cold hearted or indiscriminate.

Hmm. I may be sinning on the cold hearted side. Maybe it’s time to prepare a gift bag.
