The more I think about developing an online community for men’s team ministry, the more excited I get. Here are my thoughts about what this community might look like. It will have three “spaces”: a meeting space, a classroom space, and a bonus space.
1. A meeting space for those of us who already have a men’s team ministry so that we can learn from each other, encourage each other and have access to exclusive content. This meeting space will host the following:
- Instructional posts
- Online webinars
- A forum dedicated to issues involving men’s team ministry to the widowed and single parents.
- A library of monthly devotionals
- Interviews
- Case studies
- Additional men’s ministry resources for expanding beyond men’s team ministry
2. A classroom space for those interested in starting a men’s team ministry in their church. Here we will hold a 6 month course twice a year. The course will be done with online webinars and will have 3 components:
- Two months for preparation and promotion
- Two months for implementation
- Two months for follow up and expanding your men’s ministry beyond just men’s team ministry
3. A bonus space for those interested in pursuing the practical implications of loving their neighbors on their block. This space will host:
- Instructional posts
- Online webinars
- A separate forum dedicated to issues related to loving our neighbors
- Interviews
- Case studies
These are my thoughts about developing an online community for men who share a burden for men’s team ministry. Is there anything you would add?
Please keep me in your prayers as I develop this. It’s a lot of work and I face a huge learning curve.

All sounds like a great starting place to me. The 3rd pace for practical implications will most likely grow large enough to enable you to refocus that piece.
Thanks for this feedback, Scott. I’m also thinking about adding a private Facebook group for community members.
