Take the May Men’s Team Ministry Zoom Challenge

Sharing is caring!

This coming Sunday is New Commandment Men’s Ministries’ quarterly board meeting and since all of us board members are practicing social distancing in light of COVID-19, we’ll be meeting online with Zoom.

Patti and I have been using Zoom to have group family time with our grown children for a few weeks now and it’s become a regular tradition. It’s not the same as having everyone in our home, but it’s the next best thing.

And that gave me an idea. Why not encourage all of our men’s team ministries around the world to do a Zoom meeting online during the month of May on their regular service day. That would be a fun and engaging way for a team to see how their care receiver is doing and to maintain social distancing at the same time.

So, men’s team ministries, download the Zoom app (or go to Zoom.com), have your teems do a May Zoom meeting online with their care receiver, and then, at the end of May, we’ll all have our own giant Zoom meeting together to see how things went! (And if you don’t have a men’s team ministry in your church, you’re invited to see first hand how men’s team ministries work in churches.)

It’s going to be a blast. Can’t wait!

Since 2003 New Commandment Men’s Ministries has helped hundreds of churches throughout North American and around the world recruit teams of men who permanently adopt their widowed and single parents in their congregations for the purpose of donating two hours of service to them one Saturday morning each month. We accomplish this with a free training site called New Commandment Men’s Ministry
