Thanks for a Fantastic November, Now Here’s the Plan

Sharing is caring!

herb-portrait-10-10-closeupNovember was the best blogging month I’ve had to date.

When I started writing this blog once a month (sometimes) back in January, 2014, my first post was read a whopping 110 times. But last month, my posts were read 6,245 times by over 3,000 people! Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I hope you are as blessed reading about my three burdens–men’s team ministry to the widowed and single parents, men’s ministry in general, and how to meet? pressing needs around us–as I am writing about them.

But my ultimate goal is not writing a popular blog about men’s team ministry.

My ultimate goal is to help churches actually start men’s team ministries to their widowed and single parents.

Prior to my blog relaunch this past August as “Doing Good Well,” New Commandment helped churches primarily through workshops at men’s conferences, especially Iron Sharpens Iron conferences. But traveling across country to conferences was tedious, time consuming and expensive. It also was not scalable. We reached a plateau of 80-100 churches a year starting men’s team ministries and couldn’t get much beyond that.

So here’s the plan:

I want to leverage the Internet for massive men’s team ministry implementation.

This is how I intend to do it.

First of all, I’m going to continue writing content on all three of my topics, content that is practical, biblical, and motivating. The main topic I’ll be writing on will be men’s team ministry.

In 2017, I’m starting a 6 month long members-only group for people who want to begin a men’s team ministry in their church.

People who join this group will receive the following:

  • Personalized coaching and live group podcasting
  • Access to exclusive Internet content on men’s team ministry
  • Two months will be dedicated to preparation, two months to promotion and implementation, and two months to followup
  • A private Facebook group for member interaction
  • Discounts on training material

I’m waiting until 2017 to start because I want to make sure I have all my ducks in order. I want to do a bang up job for you all. I’m thinking of this first group as my beta test group and I may limit it in size.

Starting in 2018 I’ll offer the group twice a year and scale up to 100 churches at a time.

Let me know below if you want to be notified when registration begins.
