I enjoyed so much our blog subscriber Zoom meeting this past Saturday evening. Three men from three churches in different parts of the country joined the meeting to learn from other team members what men’s team ministry to their widowed and single parents is like.

The meeting lasted almost an hour and as different men shared their experiences with men’s team ministry, I was impressed with how powerful their personal stories were.

Now I’m taking this opportunity to encourage all of you who are involved in men’s team ministry to follow their example and tell your men’s team ministry stories loudly and boldly to everyone you can. Tell your extended family, your friends, your neighbors, your fellow workers, people from other churches, tell everyone you know.

At this very dark hour in our nation’s history, our country needs to hear how the power of the love of Christ has motivated you to serve your widowed and single parents. As the saying goes, “Don’t curse the darkness, light a candle.”

Go out and recruit more churches, more men, more widows, more widowers, more single parents. Spread the word that Jesus’ love is alive and well on planet earth because we are doing the will of God here as it is done in heaven.
